This is THE Big muff!  What a clean machine!  A local customer found this at a recent yard sale - amazing!  He has his first baby on the way, so handing him some solid cash for this felt good!

Electro-Harmonix founder Mike Matthews recollected in 2007: "Back in 1969 I was already selling the Muff Fuzz, which was a mild overdrive circuit in an LPB-1 box. I wanted to come out with a three-knob distortion unit in a bigger box. I asked my buddy, Bell Labs designer Bob Myer, to design a unit — one that would have a lot of sustain. When I got the prototype from Bob, I loved the long sustain." Mike hand-wired the first run himself, including one for Jimi Hendrix. The guitar effects pedal that would define more recordings, inspire more circuits, and influence more players than any other distortion or fuzz device in history began in a New York City apartment with a Bell Labs engineer and a request for sustain.

The earliest V1 Triangle Big Muff, introduced in 1969, features a crude design with simple black font and very little in the way of ornamentation — the three control knobs forming a triangle in their layout, which is how the first generation came to be known as the Triangle Muff. The on/off switch configuration — a toggle switch rather than a footswitch — identifies this as one of the earliest examples produced, before the design evolved to the footswitch bypass that later versions adopted. The all-metal finish casing with simple black lettering and knobs in a triangle formation represents the earliest and most valuable model.

The characteristic properties of the Triangle sound are smooth highs, warm bass, and comparatively low gain — even with the sustain all the way up, the classic Muff violin sustain leaps from the speakers, and with sustain down the Triangle functions better as a low-gain drive than later Muff variants, which only really sound good wide open. This is the specific voicing that David Gilmour and Carlos Santana used earliest, before the Ram's Head and later variants shifted the character of the circuit. Early Big Muffs were purchased and used by Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, John Lennon, Robert Fripp, and Steve Howe.

Near mint condition.   A pedal from the first three years of production that Mike Matthews hand-wired himself in the first run. The reissue EHX released in 2018 for the company's 50th anniversary confirmed that original Triangle examples were by then selling for hundreds of dollars and that the circuit remained definitive enough to warrant exact reproduction. This is the original. There is no substitute.

Good purchase
Style: 3 Pound, Pair
These are just the right weight for me to start gaining muscle back in my arms, after a large weight loss. They are of good quality, they are covered in a nice rubber like coating that is soft to the touch. They are small enough that i can take them with me when I travel. My dog has got hold of them a couple times and played with them, and they held up just fine without any damage.

Solid, grippy, and they don’t roll away!
Style: 10 Pound, Pair
I bought these because I’m finally trying to build a consistent home workout routine and didn't want to drop a fortune on name-brand weights. I’ve been using this 10lb pair for about a month now for everything from overhead presses to lunges, and honestly, they’re exactly what I was looking for. The Pros: • That Neoprene Grip: The coating is fantastic. Even when my hands get pretty sweaty halfway through a workout, I don’t feel like I’m going to drop them. It’s a much "softer" feel than cold metal or hard plastic. • The Hex Shape: This is a small detail that makes a huge difference. Since the ends are hexagonal, they don't roll across the floor when I set them down between sets. They also stay put if I’m using them for "renegade rows" or floor work. • Compact Size: They aren’t bulky. I can easily shove them under my bed or in the corner of the closet when I’m done. • No Weird Odor: I was worried they might smell like a tire factory (which happens with some rubber-coated weights), but these had almost no scent right out of the box. The Cons: • Handle Diameter: The handles are a little on the thicker side. I have medium-sized hands and it’s fine, but if you have very small hands, they might feel a bit chunky to wrap your fingers all the way around. • Color Scuffs: The navy blue looks great, but if you clank them together or drop them on concrete, the coating can scuff or show dust pretty easily. The Verdict: If you just need a reliable set of weights for HIIT, Pilates, or general strength training, these are a no-brainer. You're basically getting gym-quality equipment for a fraction of the price. I’ll probably be back for the 15lb set in a few months!

Worth its weight in gold
Color: Ocean Blue, Style: Everyday 3 Season 50-80° F
Great, left the wind & cold out. Kept me warm with 17* wind chill! Durable. Couldn’t have asked for better warmth made sitting @ watching a soccer game doable. It’s literally lite weight, has a convenient of a carrying bag.

Great sleeping bag
Color: Ocean Blue, Style: Everyday 3 Season 50-80° F
Great size for my 10 year old son. Nice and long. The material is soft and warm. The zipper zips fast. There is like a hoodie on the top to go over your head to keep you warm.

Great for school trips and camping
Color: Sunburst Orange, Style: Everyday 3 Season 50-80° F, Color: Sunburst Orange, Style: Everyday 3 Season 50-80° F
My daughter went on a school camp trip and needed a sleeping bag, so I decided to get this one. I chose the adult size instead of the kids’ version so we can use it in the future too. It turned out to be a great choice — it’s roomy and comfortable, and even I fit inside easily. The material feels soft and pleasant to the touch, and the zipper works smoothly without getting stuck. It keeps you warm at night but doesn’t feel too hot, which is perfect for cool-weather camping. I did notice that along the edges there’s a section without insulation for quite a bit of distance — not a big issue, but something to be aware of. I tried to show this part in my video. The color is bright and cheerful, exactly as shown in the pictures. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase — it’s lightweight, cozy, and easy to use. The only challenge is rolling it up and fitting it back into the carrying bag. Even for me, it took some effort since the sleeping bag is quite bulky. The material seems sturdy and well-made, but we’ve only used it once, so time will tell about its durability. Maybe the manufacturer could improve that part in the future. Still, it’s a great option for school trips, camping, and sleepovers.
